1. Sentence Patter with Intransitive Verb → tidak menggunakan objek
1.1. Noun + Verb, exp: “we are Studying”
1.2. Noun + Verb + Adverbal (please, manner, time), exp: “She went there gladly today”
1.3. Noun + Verb + Adverbal (prepositional phrase), exp: “It was announced over the loudspeaker”
2. Sentence Patterns with Trasitive → membutuhkan object
1. Noun + Verb + Noun, exp: “He enjoys the film”
2. Noun + Verb + Pronouns, exp: “He called her”
3. Sentence pattern with certain transitive
Verb : Two object
1. Noun + Verb + Noun + Noun, exp: “She sent him the news”
2. Noun + Verb + Noun + to/for phrase, exp:
- They promised me a raise
- They promised me a raise to me
